Do you usually think about prosperity in terms of money or knowledge or democracy?

Do you usually think about prosperity in personal terms or national terms or in another sort of way?

There is nothing wrong with being rich in itself.  Wealth, in the hands of pleasant persons with a devotion to the common good, can be very good indeed, particularly in the absence of quality governments.

There is a considerable amount wrong with being rude, regardless of socioeconomic status
