Perhaps you have been investing in thoughtful discussions with suitable civility in order to gain a deeper appreciation of how people truly think and feel about problems and how to solve them. 

But have you been doing so with adequate inclusion and adequate exclusion?

Inappropriate inclusion is often as problematic as inappropriate exclusion.

Most societies and governments are built on a foundation of aggression and deception rather than a culture of well-informed kindness.
 
Aggressive people associate kindness with weakness.
 
There is nothing weak about well-informed kindness.

How have you been investing in the quality analysis of events over the past few years, and where is the evidence

There is no reason why the quality analysis of events cannot be interesting and informative, even to persons more usually attracted to the sordid end of the entertainment spectrum and/or the aggressive extremes of the political spectrum.

Societal problems will only be addressed effectively with a quality analysis of quality and its absence.

How do you attempt to moderate your pleasures to prevent yourself from indulging in over-indulgent selfishness?  

Perhaps that is the most important question to ask any political candidate, or anyone else seeking (continuing) societal influence.

Greed is always an urgent problem to solve.

Pollution is always an urgent problem to solve.
 
Perhaps those problems can be solved through public sociology.

The most dangerous problems requiring trustworthy collaborations remain unsolved.

If you are investing in trustworthy collaborations to provide safety to powerless people, what are you actually doing?

What benefits arise from your actions, and for whom? 

Perhaps you do not regard danger as problematic when it is mainly faced by the powerless.

How much time do you usually spend each day in researching your investment options?

How do your investments help you to solve problems?

How will your investments prevent problems from arising (again) in the future?

Many problems arise when purported leaders are known to be hypocrites, or express themselves that way, and/or with hubris.

How do you prefer to share your knowledge, and with whom, and why?

How have you attempted to teach civility?

What is your approach to solving problems through, and in, education?

How do your acquisitions of knowledge relate to your goals?

How are your goals related to solving problems?

Improving the world requires an awareness of the fact that far too many people ignore the complexities and conflicts associated with competing demands and competing intentions.

Peaceful people cannot cope with excessive competitiveness, or with the conflicts and demands associated with it.

If those people are suffering from ongoing psychological trauma, with difficulties in overcoming feelings associated with past experiences of conflict, they may rather pretend that ongoing problems do not exist. 

Such people do not have the mental resources through which to face up to reality.  They may even have no interest whatsoever in checking facts.  They may be too stressed or confused or lazy or exhausted or gullible or ignorant to seek out the truth.

Please ensure you are investing in social research with a suitable sense of urgency.

What are your attitudes towards conflict, competitiveness, aggression and trauma, and why?  

While investing in enlightened philanthropy supports the initiation of suitable approaches to problem-solving, there are many associated matters to consider.

What do you know about the importance of investing in conservation, environmentally, psychologically, morally and aesthetically?

What do you know about investing relatively appropriately in relatively enlightened housing developments and community projects?

When seeking to solve any problem, there is no point in collaborating with anyone unsuitably motivated.

How, if at all, have you attempted to solve the problem of incivility in various contexts?

Perhaps you do not regard incivility as a problem.

How consistently have you been investing in thorough assessments of problems and possibilities, and how do you know?

A quality analysis of events does not merely highlight problems.  It states why the problems have arisen in the past, how they can be prevented in future and how they can be remedied in the present. 
 

Most problems arise because the people causing the problems have an irresponsible approach to the present and future.

Such people also have an ignorant approach to the past, even if they claim otherwise. 

An intelligently kind culture provides the moral basis for quality political reforms. 

Perhaps you believe political reform is unnecessary or someone else's responsibility yet such reform is constantly necessary.

Political reform is therefore everyone's responsibility.  It is the most important form of creativity likely to be required today, tomorrow and in the days, weeks, months and years ahead.

Anything helping you to focus on the most important task at hand is likely to be beneficial, unless it prevents you from identifying alternative solutions.

Anything taking attention away from the most important task at hand is possibly a nuisance and therefore harmful to productivity, creativity and civility.

How creatively have you been addressing problems through investing in suitably clear boundaries.

How creatively do you attempt to solve problems relating to your personal belongings, your personal relationships, and your private use of indoor and outdoor spaces?  

How do you distinguish between private problems and other problems?

Much unkindness is expressed as presumptuousness, whether in community activities, business activities or government activities.

There is especially much presumptuousness within families and political parties.

There are many people who apparently prefer unhealthy conformity instead of healthy creativity though they often have little ability to solve difficult problems.

If you are mainly influenced by conformity rather than creativity, why is that the case?

If you are interested in investing in appropriately high standards with adequate continuity and consistently, how will you provide proof of that commitment, and to whom?

To resolve problems fairly, how have you been involved in peacefully replacing unjust social hierarchies with adequately inclusive societal structures?

How have you attempted to make your approach to civility as inclusive as possible yet adequately sensible and respectable?

What has been your preferred approach to undermining unjust human dominance hierarchies?

How do you know you have been replacing those hierarchies with appropriate peacefulness and considerable effectiveness?
