Do you usually associate journalism with civility? If not, why not? Perhaps you usually associate journalism with power. Most power is in the hands of charlatans, not good citizens.  The same has been true throughout history. Indeed, for much of history, citizens were not regarded as citizens at all by people with political power, however good or bad those citizens may have been in terms of morality. How do you prefer to define quality journalism? How do you prefer to provide quality journalism? The media means many things to many people. What is your acquaintance with the structure of Australian preferential voting ?  What is your acquaintance with the structure of Australia's political system ? How do you reflect upon the meaning of structure in relation to democracy ? What are the tasks you most frequently and/or importantly perform in relation to voting? If you wish Australia's political parties would stop providing voters with narcissists, bigots, bullies and fools as parliamentary candidates , should those parties also prevent inappropriate persons from becoming and/or continuing as party members? You may have noticed, since its beginnings on 23 March of this year, that Civility Today has had a focus on a particular new theme each day.  Today's theme is especially important.  It is, of course, importance itself. How can you be sure you are capable of assessing whether information is important and/or useful to know?  How important is science in your life? How do you know you are adequately devoted to investing in importantly useful information in everything you say and do? How do you assess tasks in terms of importance?

Interpersonal respect is a human right and a human responsibility.  Respectfulness is a mutual standard.  Anything below that standard is disrespectful on one side or the other, or both. Perhaps you associate respectfulness with maturity . Perhaps you associate respectfulness with the nurture of viability, and thriving. How do you attempt to uphold appropriate standards , particularly in terms of respect? If this is your first experience of Civility Today , welcome . What have you discovered about spirituality in relation to civility and maturity ? Which of your moral values, aesthetic values and other experiential values are most sacred to you, and why, and how do you know? How do you define the sacred and the spiritual and the divine ? What does history teach you about the world as it is today? How do you teach history, including the history of civility, and the history of its absence? How do you attempt to uphold the truth while teaching it? What do you do when telling and teaching the truth is regarded by selfish people as somewhat rude? How do you attempt to uphold civility when explaining the truth of history to selfish people? Do you have any interest in psychology?   If so, what does it teach you about the world as it is today, particularly in terms of civility and incivility? Are you sure you have the maturity to teach civility appropriately?  What has your maturity taught you? What has history taught you? What has the world taught you?

Do you make adequate time for reflection? Have you reflected adequately and the meaning and purpose of power ?  Have you reflected on how often power is abused? Have you reflected on the meaning of power in relation to the meaning of energy? Have you reflected upon the experience of disability in relation to civility and its absence?  How have you been reflecting upon matters relating to sex and gender over the past few months, and why have you been doing so?

For many members of the public, whether in Australia or elsewhere, especially members of the public without advanced training in law, economics and/or political coverups, legislation can often seem intimidating , in much the same way as the higher expressions of culture . Perhaps you mainly associate training with employment . That is an easy mistake to make. If you have received training in hospitality , what did it include, and what did it exclude, and why? When citizens become more knowledgeable about problematic situations, at least in fully functioning democracies, they are able to ask more pertinent questions of the people who are meant to be accountable to the public . There is no point in providing empathy training for people incapable of acquiring empathy . There is no point in providing etiquette training for people incapable of refraining from the consumption of mind-altering substances, regardless of whether or not those substances happen to be legal or otherwise a...

Do you currently supply anyone with training of any sort? Whether you do or not, how do you intend to complete the mission set for you by the Council of Enlightenment and the Spirit of Enlightenment?    Where is the evidence that you are an enlightened being? The training offered by the Council of Enlightenment is officially for real world leaders only. How can you prove you are such a leader? How well are you investing in evidence ? 

The public interest requires your philanthropy , with or without the contribution of money .  You currently have virtual access to Frugality Cottage for dignified digital training purposes. There are many resources to support your ongoing education within the cottage, as you may have already discovered. Perhaps you have sought mentoring assistance from Adelaide . You may have discovered various training opportunities available to you during storytime .

Accomplishments in the advanced expression of empathy, etiquette, protocol, graciousness, courtesy, appropriate policies, and quality leadership, can most easily be acquired and expressed through elegant egalitarianism, especially as taught through the International Training Centre for the Harmonious Interplay of Beauty, Understanding and Magnificence. If you have never received any sort of training through that ethereally esteemed quaternary institution, that is a great pity.  You will obviously have much catching up to do, even if you are lucky enough to find the appropriate key with which to begin.
